FULL DAY CAMP

Drop-off: 8:30-8:45

Pickup between: 3:15-3:30

You are welcome to drop your child off anytime between the times listed to create a staggered drop off and pickup.

 

HALF DAY CAMP 

Drop-off: 8:30-8:45

Pickup between: 11:45-12:00pm

You are welcome to drop your child off anytime between the times listed to create a staggered drop off and pickup.

AGES 5+ 

 

FULL DAY- $199 +HST

HALF DAY- $150 +HST

(Must be paid in full upon registration to secure your spot and is non-refundable)

 

​What to expect!

​

What should campers bring: 

• Lunch and snacks (peanut free) 

• Refillable water bottle 

• Sunscreen. Please apply sunscreen for our outdoor activities in the morning before camp (weather permitting)

• Baseball or sun hat (mandatory for outside learning) 

• Instrument (If they already have previous experience. We will provide all instruments needed) 

• Extra clothes (if required) 

• EpiPen (if required) 

• Please label all your children’s items to help with organization

 

We kindly ask that you do not send your child with toys or activities from home unless it is their instrument they will be playing.

Friday performance 

Throughout the week, campers will be working on a short performance to showcase what they have learned at camp!

Note: they do not need to participate if they do not feel comfortable. 

 

The performance will emailed to you and will include a link where you can view the video.

What should campers expect to experience? 

 

Programming will be split into music and arts blocks during the day, with nutritional breaks and outdoor time (weather permitting). Here are some activities that may be included and will be adapted based on the children enrolled. Our goal is to create a safe space for children to reach their full potential!

Music 

Campers will choose one instrument that they would like to learn/perform while at camp and will get music instruction by professional teachers. They will get to explore other instruments, as well as their main choice of instrument.

 

• Introduction to an instrument

• Rhythm/pitch activities

• Music performance coaching

• Playing as a band

• Creativity/improvisation

• Music composing

• Confidence building 

• ……and lots of fun! 

 

Instruments offered: piano, violin, ukulele, guitar, vocals, percussion instruments and more!

 

If your child already knows how to play an instrument, that is wonderful! We will build on their current skills.

Arts 

Let's explore your child's creative side! Our students will work with their imagination to create their own masterpieces and creations. 

The arts have crucial developmental benefits for kids, fostering cognitive growth, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. It engages the whole brain, boosting creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through experimentation with colors, shapes, and materials.

 

Some activities may include but are not limited to:

• Crafts

• Drawing/sketching/colouring 

• Painting 

• Clay creation

• Baking

• Costume/backdrop creation

1. Enrollment & Registration

 

1. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of:

    

   • Completed registration form

   • Signed Policy & Participation Agreement

   • Required deposit or full payment

    

2. Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information and disclose any medical, behavioural, or developmental conditions that may affect participation.

2. Payment Policy

​

1. Full payment is due prior to the first day of camp to save your spot unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Late payments may result in forfeiture of the camper’s spot.

​

Accepted payment methods may include e-transfer, cash, or other methods approved by the studio.

​

 

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

​

1. Parent Cancellation:

   ​​

   • Cancellations made by the parent will result is no refund.

   • No refunds for missed days due to illness, vacation, or scheduling conflicts.

1. ​Studio Cancellation:

   • If Katie’s Music Studio cancels a camp session, a full refund will be issued.​

 

4. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy

​

1. Campers may only be dropped off and picked up during designated times. 

2. Late pick-up may result in additional fees (e.g., $15 per 15 minutes).

3. Only authorized individuals listed on the registration form may pick up campers.

4. Government-issued ID may be required.

 

 

5. Health & Safety

​

1. Parents must disclose allergies, medical conditions, and medications.

2. The studio is not responsible for administering medication unless prior written arrangements are made.

3. Sick children (fever, vomiting, contagious illness) must remain home.

4. In the event of a medical emergency, staff will:

   • Call 911 if necessary

   • Contact the parent/guardian immediately

 

Parents agree to be responsible for any medical costs incurred.​

 

6. Behaviour Policy

​

To ensure a safe and positive environment:

 

1. Campers must treat staff, property, instruments, and other campers with respect.

2. Bullying, physical aggression, inappropriate language, or destructive behaviour will not be tolerated.Camper expectations

Katie’s Music Studio is committed to providing instruction services that are free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. All Teachers and students are entitled to a learning environment where they feel safe and are treated with respect. All Teachers and students have the right to be free from discrimination and harassment based upon characteristics including race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, record of offences, marital status, family status, disability etc. Katie’s Music Studio will make every reasonable, practicable effort to ensure that no worker or student is subjected to unlawful discrimination or harassment. If Katie’s Music Studio becomes aware of a potential incident, they will investigate the complaint or incident immediately.

7. Personal Property

​

1. Katie’s Music Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

2. Campers should not bring valuables to camp.

 

8. Media Release

​

I grant permission for Katie’s Music Studio to photograph or record my child during camp activities for promotional purposes,  unless stated including:

• Website

• Social media

• Printed materials

​

No identifying personal information will be published without additional consent.

​

9. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

​

Participation in music and arts activities may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

 

• Minor injuries

• Use of musical instruments and art supplies

• Physical movement activities

 

By signing this agreement, I:

 

1. Acknowledge and accept these risks.

2. Release and hold harmless Katie’s Music Studio, its owner, employees, and contractors from liability for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by gross negligence.

3. Agree to indemnify the studio against claims arising from my child’s participation.

10. Emergency Authorization

​

I authorize Katie’s Music Studio staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I accept responsibility for all associated costs.

​

11. Agreement

 

I have read and understand the Music & Arts Camp Policy & Participation Agreement. I agree to abide by all policies set forth by Katie’s Music Studio.
